Kelly Price Biography
Kelly Price is a skilled journalist currently working as a sports reporter and fill-in sports anchor for FOX 5 sports team. She joined the the station in July 2019.
Kelly Price Career
Price hosts “Rise Up Tonight,” a late-night-style talk show that covers the Atlanta Falcons through the lens of Atlanta culture. In addition, she is a regular contributor to all of FOX 5’s Falcons programming in the fall. Besides Falcons, baseball is her favorite sport and the Braves’ clubhouse celebration after they clinched the National League East in 2019 remains her favorite work memory in Atlanta so far. Before COVID-19, Price covering her first Daytona 500 in 2020 will also remain a top memory, especially after her coverage was nominated for an Emmy.
In her current role in FOX 5, she produces and presents sports content on pro and prep sports in the field, remotely and in studio. In addition, Price manages FOX 5 Sports social media accounts and website, expanding quality and scope of digital and social content. Additionally, she grew digital total page views, unique page views and engagement rate and is a visual observer certified on the FOX 5 Drone Team.
Prior to joining FOX 5 Atlanta, she was working at WGBA, the NBC affiliate in Green Bay, Wisconsin for about two years as a sports multimedia journalist. Price most memorably covered the Packers and deep playoff runs for the Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks as a correspondent, “The Roundtable” on Spectrum Sports Wisconsin.

Before Wisconsin she was a reporter and producer for the Florida Gators at the University of Florida during her school years in Gainesville, Florida. Previously in high school, Price was a correspondent for Tampa Bay Times – Times Publishing Co in St Petersburg, Florida.
Price was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. She proudly graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Florida college of journalism and communications in 2015. She promises to play nice in Dawg country! During her collegiate career, Price spent three months in New York City with New York 1 Sports as a sports Intern at Time Warner Cable’s. In addition, she worked at WUFT-TV in Gainesville, Florida for seven months as a sports anchor and reporter. Price also worked as a reporter for five months at WRUF Sports Radio 850 in Gainesville, Florida. Additionally, she spent four months at WTVT – Fox 13 Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida as a sports intern and intern. Price further freelanced for newspapers and TV stations in Florida.
