Prior to joining NBC 7 San Diego, She first started her television news career at the KXAS NBC Dallas – Fort Worth newsroom for 3 years. At the station, Quezada worked with the news assignment desk and production department. She was then promoted to a consumer investigative producer, when she graduated from University. Quezada graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the Texas Christian University’s Bob Schieffer College of Communication. Furthermore, she then moved to KEZI 9 News in Eugene, Oregon as a multiplatform reporter for about 9 months. In addition, Quezada worked as an anchor and reporter for KBAK/KBFX in Bakersfield, California for 2 and a half years and also as a reporter for KJRH in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 2 years.

Quezada covers a wide range of all topics and breaking news. Such as the COVID-19 pandemic, wildfires, earthquakes, immigration and the mass shooting at St Francis Hospital. With a specialization on human interest, she produced special reports about St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Tennessee. The report promoted a fundraising campaign for childhood cancer treatment and cures.
