Saab has covered multiple significant stories, such as hate crimes against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, numerous Northern California wildfires, and the COVID-19 vaccine rollout across the Bay Area.
Before she joined NBC Bay Area, Saab was a broadcast journalist and producer for ABS-CBN International’s The Filipino Channel (TFC). At the station, Saab was the host and producer of the popular Adobo Nation – a weekly magazine talk show. The show blended new features and lifestyle topics relevant to Filipino-Americans living in the United States of America. In addition, she was also an anchor for the station’s news alerts and filled in at the daily newscast desk.
Prior to TFC in Daly City, Saab worked at ABS-CBN Corporation in the Philippines for a decade in several roles. Such as field reporter for TV Patrol World, news anchor for mornings @ANC and morning show host and reporter for Umagang Kay Ganda. In addition, she reported on numerous Presidential elections, the Duterte first family and the Papal visit to the Philippines in 2015. Saab also covered Miss Universe pageants, studio junkets and regional and local entertainment news.
She joined Miss Philippines Earth 2006 and won the title of Miss Philippines Air as a 1st Runner up. Saab joined ABS-CBN as an entertainment reporter for TV Patrol and mornings @ ANC after her reign as Miss Philippines Air.
She was born and raised in San Francisco and speaks fluent Tagalog and Ilonggo, a Philippine dialect. Saab graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Southern California.
