Courtney Bryant is a skilled journalist currently working as an evening co-anchor of FOX 5 News at 5pm, 6pm and 10pm on weeknights. She joined FOX 5 Atlanta in January 2020.
Courtney Bryant Career
Prior to joining FOX 5, Bryant was an evening anchor at KMOV-TV in St. Louis, Missouri for nearly five years. During her time at KMOV-TV, she was one of only two reporters granted a sit down interview with Missouri governor Eric Greitens. He resigned following allegations of sexual misconduct and blackmail. In addition, Bryant also covered the 2016 presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton at Washington University. She led extended breaking news coverage of area-wide unrest following the acquittal of St. Louis police officer Jason Stockley.
Before St Louis, Bryant spent almost three years as an evening anchor at KBAK/KBFX TV in Bakersfield, California. Previously, she had worked as an entertainment reporter for movie guide in the Greater Los Angeles area for nearly four years. At the station, Bryant reported on entertainment news events for an online and nationally syndicated television program. In addition, she interviewed film industry creative talent at press junkets, red carpets, and awards shows.
Furthermore, Bryant also worked as an event planning assistant and assisted primary event planner for the Movie guide Film and Television Awards. In addition, she communicated with award nominees and coordinated accommodations for VIP guests. Bryant also recruited, trained and managed a staff of 40-50 volunteers for the annual event.
