Alyse Eady Biography
Alyse Eady is an award winning journalist currently working as an anchor and reporter for FOX 5 Good Day Atlanta. She joined the station in August 2016.
Alyse Eady Career
Prior to joining FOX 5, Eady anchored for TEGNA-owned KTHV-TV the local CBS affiliated television station in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she received an Emmy Award in 2013.
In 2004, Eady won the title of Miss Teen Arkansas-America 2004, which is now known as Miss Arkansas Outstanding Teen. In addition, she performed in the Variety Act as a special guest during one of the Preliminary Competitions at Miss America 2007 including her yodeling abilities. Furthermore in 2010, she competed at Miss Arkansas as Miss South Central Arkansas and won two awards the Preliminary Talent Award and the Coleman Overall Talent Award at the pageant. Her platform was the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and her talent is a Variety Act, in which she both sings and does ventriloquism to the song “I want to Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart”. Her act, which also included yodeling, was called “daring and skillful” by The Washington Post.
Eady was crowned Miss Arkansas in 2010 and won first runner up when she represented her state in the 2011 Miss America pageant. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts double major degree in mass communication and speech communication from Quachita Baptist University. Eady also holds a master’s degree in communications from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana.

For 23 years, she has been actively involved with the Boys and Girls Club of America. As part of her work with BGCA, Eady travelled to Turkey and Germany to mentor children whose parents were deployed there. In addition, she is a recipient of the Freedom Corps President’s Volunteer Service Award for 2,000 hours of community service. Eady got an invite to speak before Congress on how the Boys and Girls Club impacted her life.
She lives in DeKalb County with her husband, their three children baby girl, Sophia, baby boys Wyatt and Walker and their Siberian husky, Ranger.

Eady was born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a caretaker for both of her parents, who were ill when she was growing up. Her father Lewis Eady became blind and her mother Lady Eady had lupus and had multiple surgeries when she was younger. Eady helped out by learning to cook, and assisting her mother to bathe and dress. She has two brother siblings, Scott and Martin Patrick Eady.

Eady tied the knot with her college sweetheart Patrick Jeffrey Lemmond on 7 December 2013 at Little Rock Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church & The Albert Pike Hotel.

She is a mother of three children, a daughter Sophia and two sons Wyatt and Walker Lemmond.
